I've told you guys before about how we used to go the pool in the summertime.I'm sure you went, too. But I don't remember going when I was really little, because I think my parents opted for the backyard kiddie pool. But your kid doesn't have to!  There's a really neat little program going on at Centennial Pool to help the little ones get adjusted to playing in the water.

When you're a little kid, it's hard to play in the big pool, because it's scary. And there are big kids everywhere! Sometimes the little ones just get pushed aside in the excitement. There isn't much room for just sittin in your Lil Swimmers and having a good time.

So that's why Centennial is offering the Splash and Play program this summer. It's for the littler kids, under the age of 5. They get to go into the Zero Entry area and just be kids playing in the water with other little kids.  It runs early, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and only costs $4. If you need more information you can call them at 827-5839 or just pop by at 1600 East 16th street.

Oh, and I finally found the picture from when I "pooled" myself blonde.

See, there's proof I was once cute. What happened, huh?

Swimmingly yours,
