Gardening.  It's not as easy as it looks.  Husbando and I have tried to grow some stuff in years past in our backyard.  We have a few blackberry bushes, and we've done lettuce and tomatoes and such.  More often than not, though, stuff gets eaten by animals or neighborhood kids.  Well, the stuff that survives, anyway.

Not much does.  I think I forget to water them.

So maybe there's hope for me yet with the Master Gardener training that'll be held in Warrensburg coming up. The mission of the Missouri Master Gardener program is "Helping Others Learn to Grow".  The twelve week course will be held Tuesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. from February 7th through May 5th on the University of Central Missouri campus.  Cost for the course is $130 per individual or $225 per couple, and that includes all the training materials.  To register for the course or get more information, contact the Johnson County Extension Center at 660-747-3193 or stop by their office at 135 West Market Street in Warrensburg.
