Each performance by Gary Clark Jr. is a completely unique and organic event, which is maybe why it's taken a decade for the blues guitarist to assemble his first-ever live album.

He isn't getting overly clever with the name, either: 'Gary Clark Jr. Live' is set to drop Sept. 23 on Warner Bros., but you won't need to wait until then to hear it -- the New York Times is streaming the album now.

Each of the songs on the album (recorded with no overdubs) come from different gigs Clark played during the past 18 months including shows at clubs, theaters, arenas and festivals.
