Authorities arrested four suspects after responding to a report of shots fired in Mora.  According to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office, deputies from Pettis County and Benton County, along with Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the 36900 block of Silver Mine Rd. on April 13 and found evidence where shots had been fired into a home.

A suspect vehicle was located by the Cole Camp Police Department a short time later at Casey's General Store in Cole Camp. Deputies responded to the store to speak with the suspect and learned several other suspects had been dropped off at two locations, and evidence had been thrown out on 52 Highway. Authorities then went to a residence on M Highway in Pettis County to speak with other parties that could have been involved in the shooting.

As a result of the investigation, four people were arrested on a variety of charges:

Cassandra Ann Iman of Cole Camp

  1. Unlawful use of a weapon (felony)
  2. Tampering with physical evidence
  3. Minor visibly intoxicated
  4. Property damage

Jeremiah Scott Jones of Smithton

  1. Unlawful use of a weapon
  2. Minor visibly intoxicated
  3. Property damage

Luke Christopher Harms of Cole Camp

  1. Unlawful use of a weapon
  2. Minor visibly intoxicated
  3. Property damage

Clayton Eric Hambsch of Mora

  1. Unlawful use of a weapon
  2. Minor visibly intoxicated

All suspects were placed on 24-hour holds pending charges from the Pettis County Prosecutor.

A juvenile was also taken into custody who was released to parents. The case will be referred to juvenile authorities.
