The Foo Fighters are still hard at work promoting their latest album, ‘Sonic Highways,’ and last night (Dec. 18), Dave Grohl and company visited ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to perform the New York City-inspired cut, ‘I Am a River.’ Watch the performance in the clip above.

During the making of ‘Sonic Highways’ -- which was documented in Grohl’s titular HBO series -- the Foos sought backup from artists that helped create the music scene in each of the cities explored on the album. Similarly, during their 'Fallon' performance, the Foo Fighters did not go it alone and were accompanied by a full string orchestra.

If you want to catch the Foo Fighters’ live show in-person, then take a look at their complete list of tour stops below. They’ll return to the U.S. on July 4 for a show in Washington, D.C, with more dates scheduled through October.
