VE Day Rememberance Ceremony

May 8th is VE Day. Victory in Europe was the beginning of the end of World War II. To honor and remember the sacrifice of our WWII Veterans, there will be a short ceremony.
It will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the VFW Annex, which will be followed with cake and refreshments. We encourage WWII Veterans that are able to attend to make the effort. The public is also invited. To those who can attend, they ask for a small donation to the Veteran's Home in Warrensburg. Donations will be given to the home in the name of Post 2591 and the Veterans who attend.
