A program that will focus on medical marijuana in the work place is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Best Western State Fair Motor Inn, 32nd and Limit.
A lunch and business meeting will take place at 11:30 a.m., followed by the one-hour seminar at noon in the upstairs ballroom.
The session will be led by Shelly Freeman of Jackson Lewis, PC, in Overland Park. Kan. She has nearly 30 years of experience practicing labor and employment law.
Cost is $15 with RSVP, $25 without one.
The event is being presented by the Human Resource Management Association of West Central Missouri.
