Fifty States of Vietnam Vets

VFW Riders Post 2591, Boots 'n Country Riders and Miller & Fountain Charities will host Fifty States of Vietnam Vets at the National Convention at Lake of the Ozarks at Bagnell Dam on the Tucker Shuckers Stage at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

There is no admission charge to participate, it was noted.

There will be a full day of live music provided by Steve Scorfia's Steel Blues Band, Randall's Sturgess Band, Me & Jim, Doug Stevens' Witch Hazel.

Missouri charities and public services to be recognized include Camp Valor Outdoor, Frank's Heroes, Red, White & Blue, and public radio and TV.

There will be guitars given away to Vets and “making a statement to the nation from the heartland that Missouri cares and loves our troops,” organizer Curt Miller noted.
