The Johnson County Historical Society is pleased to announce the first two performances of the Eclectic Cafe Concert Series.
Drawing influence from the string band tradition of the 1920's the Knobtown Skiffle Band will play fiddle tunes, blues, stomps, drags and rags on Friday, October 5th.
Manda Shea & the Sumpthin' Brothers will perform American roots music on Saturday, October 6th.
Both performances begin at 7 pm and take place at the historic old Johnson County Courthouse at 302 North Main in Warrensburg. Lit by candles and mirrors and presented without amplification the concerts are offered free of charge (free will donations will be accepted). Inside seating limited to 70 quests.
The concert series is a celebration of the rich diversity of music in our city and region and continues with the following performances:
