Sometimes I think that we can get so wrapped up in national news that we can often forget about our local elections. But to me, those are so much more important! You're deciding about stuff that will literally affect things like the people you live with, or the water you drink. So while I would never tell you how or who to vote for, I do want to encourage you to take a second and do your civic duty.

I'm not one of those people who will tell you you can't complain if you don't vote, but it does seem silly to complain about how things are going without telling anyone you don't want things to go that way.

And, it's so simple! I mean, choosing between some of the sides of different issues isn't that easy, but the actual process is. I don't think it's ever taken me more than five or ten minutes to vote here in Sedalia - and that was during the BIG election last November. We were still in and out in about ten minutes.

So please, which ever side you stand on, go ahead and vote. Make your voice heard!

Votingly yours,
Behka
