A lot of us do it.... sing along to your favorite tunes in your vehicle.

Apparently there's a downside to it- singing in the car makes you drive like an OLD PERSON. A new study found that when people sing and drive it makes them slow down and drive more carefully . . . but also slows down their reaction time.

Not to pick on the elderly, but we all know how most old people drive, right?  Sure, they drive slowly and carefully . . . but they don't have the best response time when it comes to turn signals, changing lanes, or a light turning green.

Turns out that's how YOU drive when you sing along with the radio.  Singing turns you into an old person.

A new study found that when people sing and drive it makes them slow down, stay more centered in their lane, and drive more carefully.  But it ALSO reduces their reaction time, and makes them slower to respond to potential accidents.

(For what it's worth, this effect was NOT tested on people listening to their favorite radio personalities.  That doesn't make them drive like old people, it makes them drive like WONDERFUL people.)

What about you? Do you sing in the car? Take our poll and we'll talk about it on the air!

Songfully yours,

Behka
