And the location of the the new Cracker Barrel in the Show Me State is...?

For those of us hoping for new restaurants to come to Sedalia, this particular chain hasn't picked the state fair city in this latest press release. According to a report on kansascity.com, Cracker Barrell Old Country Store is opening in Belton.

Cracker Barrel has confirmed the new location at 6751 E. 163rd St., and said it will open this fall.

The chain was founded in 1969, and its first Missouri location opened in mid-1991 in St. Louis. It hasn't opened a restaurant in the state since late 2005 when it opened in Sullivan, Mo., southwest of St. Louis.

Of course, Cracker Barrel is known for its comfort food menu, suchas meatloaf and mashed potatoes, chicken pot pie, and turkey and dressing, .

If you're wondering how much food Cracker Barrel goes through each year, check out these numbers: They serve 200 million biscuits along with 160 million eggs and 137 million slices of bacon. That's a lot of breakfast being served annually. Cracker Barrell says they serve approximately 217 million customers each year.

On top of the great food they also have a great selection of products you can browse through and purchase in thier general store either before or after your meal.
