James Franco is set to direct a new film, The Long Home, and some members of the cast have already been announced, including Miss World herself, Courtney Love.

Love will take part in the film alongside Timothy Hutton, Tim Blake Nelson, Giancarlo Esposito and Franco. The exact role Love will play has yet to be announced. The film is an adaptation of the 1999 William Gay novel, which was the author's first. It is the story of an old man who watches evil grow in rural Tennessee as he deals with his own issues of guilt.

This marks Love's first role in a full length feature film since 2002's Trapped. "I have a new agent for the first time in a long time, and people thought—and for a while this was true—that I wasn't interested in acting," she told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year. "But now I am, and I’m pursuing it really aggressively. I might even have to move back to L.A. to pursue it. We’ll see."

Franco has previously directed adaptations of William Faulkner's As I Lay Dying and The Sound and the Fury, among other projects.
