‘Cops-for-Coats’ Program Begins in November

With the weather turning colder, the Sedalia Police Department is once again hosting the Cops for Coats program.

Anyone who has new or gently used coats, hats, and, scarfs, and would like to donate them to someone in need, a drop box will be available in the lobby at the police station, beginning November 9.

The donated coats and winter items will be given to anyone who may need them this winter.

The Cops for Coats program has children’s coats through adults sizes. The drop-box will be available for donations 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

The Sedalia Police Department is located at 201 W. 2nd Street.
