Congratulations to Sedalia Bomber Turned San Francisco Giant Mike Kickham

I am really excited that Mike Kickham is getting his first MLB game this week for the San Francisco Giants.  When Kickham was playing for the Sedalia Bombers, he lived with my sister and I got to know him and his brother pretty well away from the diamond.  He is a perfect fit for the majors: a little quirky, bad haircut and a strange sense of humor. In other words, he's awesome!

This will be the first Bomber to make it to the show, but there are lots of them in the pipeline and I am looking forward to seeing more make it.  Sedalia should be proud of the Sedalia Bombers and the program that Jud Kindle has brought to Sedalia.

With Bomber season a week away, this is a good opportunity to remind you what kind of baseball is played at Liberty Park Stadium.  Congratulations to Mike and to Coach Kindle,  let's get out and support the Bombers and play ball!
