There's going to be a big Comedy Show coming to Bar 9 in Sedalia on September 10.   Here's a quick introduction of some of the comics performing, in their own words!

"Having spent more than a decade delivering laughs to crowds nationally from Knoxville to Cedar Rapids to Kansas City to Portland, Oregon, comedian Bill Fisher looks at things slightly differently....he calls it 'observational deconstruction'. His odd but accurate views on things will have you both laughing and wondering why you didn't think of that sooner! Being comfortable on stage and living crowd interaction makes him stand out in a crowded field, and his joy on stage is infectious!"
"Fearless and unique, Maeret Lemons is a KC native with a quick wit and a sharp tongue. A professionally trained designer and fine artist, Maeret is a regularly featured comic at her hometown clubs and headlines all over the Midwest. Featured in ambitious.com's list of top 10 up and coming female comedians of 2015, she has shared the stage with seasoned pros like Marc Maron, TJ Miller, David Koechner, Big Jay Oakerson, April Macie, Eddie Ifft, Louis Katz, Tim Gaither, Andy Andrist, and Kenny DeForest."
"Jake Redpath has opened for Brian Posehn and TJ Miller, is a regular at the Kansas City Improv, and runs a stand up showcase in Kansas City called 'BIG HOT BITS'."
"Anna May Smith is a regular improv comedian at ComedyCity, and won 2nd place in the comedian category for the Pitch's 'Best of Kansas City' 2015. She has opened for Owen Benjamin and Chris Franjola and performed at Chicago's 'Women's Funny Festival 2016'."
"Sedalia native Brian Pettis has performed locally several times and has earned a reputation for being a hilarious storyteller. A relative newcomer to the stage, he has been described as a cross between Louis CK, Jim Gaffigan, and David Cross, with a dash of Homer Simpson thrown in. His views on fatherhood, family, and marriage will have you laughing like crazy!"
