Cole Camp Man Suffers Moderate Injuries in Benton County Crash

A Cole Camp man suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Wednesday evening Benton County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Shannon D. Farris of Cole Camp was eastbound on Route 52 at 6:11 p.m., riding a 2004 Yamaha. Farris slowed to make a turn at Tobacco Avenue, when an eastbound 2005 Ford Econoline driven by 58-year-old Dennis W. Beemer of Centerview struck the Yahama in the rear.

Farris suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Cole Camp Ambulance.

The Ford had minor damage, while the Yamaha had extensive damage.
