Meet Ben Finfer and Alex Quigley, the hosts of 'Quigs and Finfer,' which airs weekday afternoons from noon-3pm on WGWG-LP The Game 87.7 FM in Chicago.

Make that aired.

Finfer left rival radio station WSCR-AM/670 The Score in February to team up with Quigley for the new midday show on The Game, the first-ever FM sports radio station in Chicago. Nine months later, the move turned out to be a bad one. Due to low ratings, Tribune Media decided to cancel The Game's format at the end of the year. To make things even worse, Finfer learned of his impending pink slip from a tweet by Chicago Tribune media critic Robert Feder.

Finfer was so angry that he was not told of the move before he went on air, that he ripped his general manager, Jimmy de Castro, for not having the decency to inform them of the decision before it hit social media. What made the rant even more uncomfortable was that his partner, Quigley (on the right in the video), is part of management and knew about the change, but didn't bother to tell Finfer.
