If there's one thing we are particular about in Missouri, it's our food.

I was thinking the other day about what foods are really "authentic" Missouri, and I kind of was at a loss.  Is it barbecue? That's everywhere, though.  So I did a little searching and found this video on YouTube.  It's a bunch of native Californians (who you might think are into, you know, kale and gluten free locally sourced smoothies) trying Missouri foods for the first time.  I thought they'd hate it, honestly.  But, believe it or not, it's a pretty positive outcome.  Check it out!

I love try videos, though. I mean, I'll watch just about anybody trying something for the first time.

What do you think?  Were the choices "authentic" Missouri?  What would you put on the list of essential Missouri foods?

Hungrily yours,

Behka
