Boys & Girls Club and Tyson to Host Truck Sale
Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is teaming up with Tyson Foods to host a truck sale on July 20.
The Boys and Girls Club says that 20 pound boxes of various fully cooked and ready-to-cook chicken will be available to purchase from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the Thompson Hills Shopping Center parking lot. The proceeds will benefit the Club
Boys & Girls Club staff, board members, and a few Club members will also be on-hand cooking lunch consisting of chicken sandwiches, for a free-will donation.
“We are very excited to partner with Tyson and give our supporters and families a quick and easy way to stock up on great meals while also supporting a great cause,” said Special Events Director Andrea Mason. “From the simple breaded tenders to the tequila-lime wings, there’s something for everyone.”
Some of the items available for purchase include various flavors of wings, breaded and grilled breast fillets and tenderloins, flavored tenderloins, and boneless skinless chicken breast.
Prices range from $35 to $40 for each 20-pound box. The truck sale will begin at 9 a.m. and go until 5 p.m., or all chicken is sold, according to the Club
