I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about a possible visit.  I was mentioning to him our spare room, which we also use when the girls are here for them to have a room of their own on weekends.  I told him that the room was just fine, but that sometimes the closet door might poke open (it's an old house).  He had a slight freakout. It was nothing major, he just said that if he was going to stay a weekend with us, that he'd have to put something next to the door of the closet. Apparently it's a thing where he has to have closet doors shut when he goes to sleep.  I thought that was wierd, but then I thought, wait - you have your sleep things, too.  I have to have something playing on the dvd player each night before I go to bed... and not just any old thing, it has to be an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 or one of the spinoffs.

It's quiet, it's comforting, and it's usually in black in white so it's not too bright.  And, if I'm lying there awake and not sleeping, it's entertaining.  I have that, and usually if I'm going to lay on my side I have to have a pillow between my legs.  It's just something that makes things a little more comfortable for me.   So tell me about some of your routines, rituals or habits you have to get ready for bed.  Do you have to sleep on a certain side, or with a certain pillow?  Do you have a favorite sleep position?  Is there something that you do to the bed or the sheets?  Tell me all about something that you do that helps you get ready for dreamtime.  Fill out our survey and I'll share your answers on the air!

Sleepily yours,

Behka
