The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, better known as Jazz Fest, has announced its main lineup for 2018. Among the big names playing this year's installment, which will take place over two weekends on April 27 and May 6, are Aerosmith, the Steve Miller Band and Sting.

Sting will close out the first day, while Aerosmith are headlining the second Saturday, May 5, and Miller will play the on the last day of the festival. Joining them will be David Byrne, Bonnie Raitt, Sheryl Crow, Jack White, Beck, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit and Jimmy Buffett and His Acoustic Airmen. The organizers made the announcement with a video set to Fats Domino's classic "I'm Walkin'," which can be seen above. Domino, the New Orleans music legend who died in October, will be honored at the festival on April 28 with a tribute that includes Jerry Lee Lewis and to-be-announced guest stars. Jazz Fest also has plans to honor the 300th anniversary of the city's official founding.

Jazz Fest, which has been held annually since 1970, celebrates the music of New Orleans, with nationally known native artists -- like Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Irma Thomas, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Rebirth Brass Band, Kermit Ruffins & the Barbecue Swingers, Galactic, Big Sam's Funky Nation and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band -- also on the schedule.

Tents and stages devoted to local blues, traditional jazz, gospel, zydeco, and African musicians, as well as to the culture, art and food of the Crescent City and the region will also be on display.
